Mid-November brings a beautiful shift to The Darlington House — softer light, cooler tones, and a calm atmosphere that works perfectly for portraits.
The Andalusian Patio and tiled archways gave us those classic Darlington House textures, while the gardens still held enough greenery to keep everything timeless. The November light was more directional than early fall, which created subtle shadows and a moodier, more romantic feel in the images — a look that really compliments the architecture here.
If you want to see how the Darlington House looks earlier in the season, I recently shared an early-fall wedding with a different color palette and lighting — you can view that post here: Early Fall Wedding
Darlington House remains one of my favorite places for portraits year-round, and mid-November brings a unique, intimate charm that photographs beautifully.
