Flavio is absolutely amazing to work with. When I decided to get married at Darlington House I totally stalked all of his previous weddings there (he shoots there a lot). I completely fell in love with his style. He is so great at capturing mood and moments. After I actually met him in person I was even more enamored. He is a ball of joyous, creative energy. Being around him is exciting and relaxing somehow. The day of the wedding the odd thing is most of the time I didn't even know he was around. I guess that is a good thing, but when you like someone as much as I like Flavio, I was left thinking "I feel like I never got to talk to Flavio." :) That's because he was alway in action capturing my wedding day, blending in, getting the shots. I received the pics this past weekend and I am just blown away. I can't believe this is MY wedding. I am so incredibly grateful to have had the chance to work with Flavio and Ben (his awesome 2nd shooter). We got all of the photos that I now treasure but NEVER felt like the flow of the day was interrupted for the shot. He worked so well with the other vendors. And the ladies at the venue see a LOT of weddings and he is a standout. They all love him at Darlington. My only regret is I didn't have him around to take photos all weekend! :) I LOVE the way he captured not only us, the couple, but our guests. Everyone says it goes too fast and it definitely did. Now I have pics of what our guests were up to when we weren't around. It is so great to see everyone having so much fun (and looking so good doing it). A million stars. Much love, Flavio!

We really enjoyed working with Flavio and LEAF photography. He took wonderful photos that captured the beauty of the venue of the colors of our wedding. We felt at ease working with him, and convinced us to take the most epic sunset photo despite our photo fatigue :). Afterwards we ordered our wedding album with him and he was attentive to detail and helped create a great layout. He even went to bat for us when the finished product came back with flaws. Not only a great photographer, Flavio is a great person. Highly recommend.

I fell in love with all of Flavio's outdoor and sunset photos and was thrilled that he was able to travel to Temecula for our wedding at a winery. We did our engagement photos in La Jolla, which also turned out beautiful. On the big day, Flavio and Nicolette were so easy to work with. They were so great about blending in infact, that there were some moments I did not even realize they captured until we got our photographs sent to us. Also, they have an absolute gift for shooting in natural light. All of our pictures at sunset are breathtaking. Our friends and family cannot stop looking at all of our pictures! They are simply stunning. Every photographer my venue suggested for me had traditional, stuffy, 90's style wedding photos. I was getting very nervous about finding a photographer that fit our style and personality. After our meeting with Flavio, we knew we had found our guy. Everyone looks natural, relaxed and beautiful. Flavio is a true artist. His passion for his work is unmistakable and reflected in each and every one of his pictures. He set up time with us early on in the wedding planning process to understand us as a couple and get a feel for our style. We wanted lots of candid shots which he certainly captured (like my grandmother taking a tequila shot and the defining moment in an epic east coast/west coast dance battle), and even though we didn’t want too many posed pictures, we knew we had to have them and Flavio did such a beautiful job to not make them look cheesy or overly-posed. He and his assistant were such a pleasure to work with. They were mindful of the schedule of the day, but they made sure we got as many of our must-have shots as they could fit. My husband and I would both say we are not entirely comfortable in front of a camera, but with Flavio and his assistant, we felt right at home. The final product was simply stunning – we can’t stop looking at them. He captured moments that made us relive the day in such a special way. There were images that made us cry and ones that made us laugh – it was everything we wanted! I just can’t say enough great things about him!

Very flexible in working with your budget, schedule, product choices and engagement photo session ideas if your not sure what your vision is just quite yet. My husband and I worked with Flavio of Leaf Wedding Photography in 2010. We still find ourselves frequently looking through the photos because they artistically captured every special moment of our wedding day (not to mention the engagement and trash the dress shoot!). My wife and I were happily married in October of 2011 at the Braemar Country Club in Tarzana, CA. As a graphic designer, I was compelled to add some of my own personal design touches to our wedding including designing the menus, creating the invitations, and even choosing the music. So naturally, finding the perfect photographer for our wedding was very important to me. After searching through close to a hundred photographer’s websites online with my wife, we were both left pretty underwhelmed seeing nothing but the same old cliché wedding photographs. Through a friend’s recommendation we checked out Flavio Scorsato of Leaf Wedding Photography’s portfolio, and we both realized we hit the jackpot. His portfolio said it all; solid compositions, jaw dropping creativity and uniqueness, plus the patience and the eye needfor taking once-in-a-lifetime shots.

Soon after, we met Flavio in person to discuss what he could do for us. His warm and friendly personality sealed the deal. Our wedding was absolutely amazing and went without hardly a hiccup. Flavio was accommodating, considerate, and nearly invisible while somehow capturing all the most meaningful moments of the day/night. From the bride and groom getting ready, to the crying at the ceremony, to the partying, laughing and dancing during the reception. He also had some very creative suggestions for photo-ops during the wedding that we’re so glad we did! We have some phenomenal, tear jerking engagement and wedding photos, to remember the most important day of our lives with. Brownie points from the wife? Absolutely! We got our money’s worth tenfold.
